Mainsail Horizons Senior Housing is a member of the Mainsail Capital Group family and follows the overall mission of building and operating safe and stable communities. Mainsail sees a different way of assisting the elderly members of our communities through a new stage in their lives. Acknowledging that where they live is their home, and belongs to them, not to our managers, employees, or medical staff. We have established a facility that not only meets their medical and physical needs, but one that also nourishes their social connections, individual dignity, and personal preferences.

Mainsail Horizons Senior Housing (MHSH) provides assisted living solutions for senior adults that enable them to enjoy as much independence as possible. The residences are configured to provide maximum care for seniors while promoting independent living with the support of a well-trained staff. As individuals get older, they may start to lose mobility and need constant assistance with their daily activities. This can be troublesome for the loved ones of individuals who are unable to leave their busy schedules to continuously assist them, or who lack the knowledge or resources and ability to help them. Some family members want the assurance that their loved ones are being monitored by professional care givers. Whatever the cause, MHSH has the resources to address these, and offers a solution and relief for our clients and our clients’ loved ones. MHSH takes the responsibility of tending to the elderly and making their transition to late life comfortable and easy. The benefit of this service enables seniors to be well taken care of while still leading an active life and gives family members a peace of mind.

Our Services

Assisted Living

Assisted living is a residential setting where room and board are provided to a resident along with meals , medication management and services that are customized to suit specific needs that pertain to Activities of Daily Living ("ADL's")

Memory Care

Memory care candidates are those assisted living residents who have an impairment in their cognitive ability; this can be mild or severe and lead to physical impairment.

Recuperative Care

Recuperative care is a negotiated stay that refers residents who are hospital discharge candidates and require 90 days or less of recovery care in an RCFE setting. At the conclusion of the service the resident is discharged or placed in the facility for a long term stay.

Hospice Care

Mainsail incorporates a waiver for hospice at its properties. This enables us to provide support to a hospice operator or to provide respite care when needed.

Current Projects

Our most recent project, currently in development, is Mainsail Horizons of Calabasas. This project, located in the beautiful hillsides of Calabasas California, is designed specifically to fill the needs gap between an assisted living community and nursing home, but with a more specialized level of care that typical assisted living communities are not able to provide. We expect this community to consist of 38 beds that will be designed for those that suffer from two or more chronic conditions.
